I have the same in the begining of my first trimester. It went away around my 4th month.  Doc had told me it was normal because of hormone changes. My lfriend is only 10 weeks ahead of me and she too experienced the same and her doc told her the samething. I'm 28weeks now 7months but stil  have morning sickness..lol

Thanks for responding! At first I thought it was a bug bite but then it spread everywhere.. but I wake up in the middle of night itching like crazy.. I took benadryl which only last for a little bit and then seems to ware off. And I don't want to take more because the risks scares me. Today is better.. the bumps are not so itchy but still there. I got benadryl gel which seems to help. :) thanks again!!

It could be exsessive dry skin. And water retaining, it causes your skin to feel tight. Its so uncomfortable and you really notice it at night. When you shower while you're still damp use lots of rich lotion to keep your skin as moist as possible. It will help a bit.
Good luck

Im 29 weeks and am having this same problem but without the hives. I literally itch from head to toe constantly all day but then at night it gets worse and my hands and feet itch so bad it keeps me up all night. Doc told me hormones but sometimes i wonder if its somethong else bc it is horrible.

Check your body for bites too.  And also write down everything you ate today.  That way if it happens again you can find the common denominator.
