Hives

I have hives on my legs and back. Told my Dr a few days ago and he wasn't super concerned. He said they are common in pregnancy, especially since I have sensitive skin. Just wondering if anyone else got these? They itch! Any natural remedies? Trying to avoid allergy meds, they never seem to do much. I'm 18w

Oh yes I just broke out on them while vacationing in the rockies. All over the back of my legs and booty. I bought the topical anti itch benadryl cream with the numbing in it. Helped a lot!! Also, avoid getting the area hot if you can that seems to make them get worse. So don't take any really hot showers or baths. Hope they go away soon, mine lasted about a week.

Bendryl is the only thing that really works on hives. Take it at night. It will calm down the hives and you will get a good night of sleep. The sleep will also really help.

I had the same problem off and on and if it got too bad I did take allergy meds.  Dr said it was fine to take them as long as it was not everyday

Yes I had some pretty bad heat rash in the beginning of my pregnancy, I know it's not hives (which I've had before) but it's just as itchy and drove me nuts! I would suggest a cold wrap on the area to lessen the itch feeling, you can also use topical itching cream, which they make in different strengths. Other than that, you can take plain old regular Benadryl, I know you said you didn't want to but if it's bad and driving you nuts you should. Benadryl is on my list of approved over the counter meds you can take while pregnant that I got from my doctor. Good luck!!
