Homebirth

Had a successful and safe homebirth of little Jr. On August 18th.  It was my first delivery and I couldn't imagine it being any better.  My husband and I went to the beach in the morning and returned home for lunch.  I was experiencing "cramps" throughout the day but didn't think anything of it as the week before I had cramps and they eventually went away.  As the afternoon progressed the "cramps" got stronger but lacked consistency so I text the midwife whom said she would come check in and hour.  Midwife arrived and I was already 7.5 cm along as I wasn't sure I was experiencing contractions or just cramps.  We filled up the birthing tub and after figuring out the pushing thing he was born 4 hours later.  He was 8lbs 8oz and 20 in long.
