There is a lot of false positives when it comes to that ....I have known many women that have gotten positives & there babies came out just fine nothing wrong at all...so don't stress about it..I know easier said than done but its probsly nothing to worry about & stay positive

My good friend has a daughter with down syndrome.  I baby sit for them.  Actually I am watching her for 5 days in a couple weeks while they go on a trip together.  I am so excited.  She is a joy and a delight! I am always blessed by my time with her. She was one of the flower girls in my wedding.  Whenever I worry about the possibility of my child having down syndrome, I admit it makes me afraid,  but then I smile and remember my friends beautiful amazing smart as all get out daughter and I remember that God doesn't make mistakes.  That all children are a blessing! So even if your child does have down syndrome it isn't the end of the world.  Your child will still be beautiful and smart and a joy! I'll be praying for you

With my first child I tested positive only from the drawn blood screen..opted not to do the amniosintis (however you spell it) and decided to do the 3D/4D ultrasound for a lesser chance to see if he had down syndrom or not.after 2 weeks of worrying drove 2 hours to my apt. And right away determined no he was fine thank god..they were off on my dates so drew my blood at the wrong time!! Good luck they make mistakes $o never know!

My results came back positive to with my last child. I did not do the belly test because it was a 50/50 chance the baby might live or die. After I had my son he is perfectly normal.
