calcium deposit on baby's heart.

Has anyone had any experience with this? My dr. Didn't seem very concerned but she did mention it is sometimes associated with down syndrome?

That's exactly how I feel. I will love this baby the same even if there is a problem so I'm not sure if I even want to bother doing the tests. I'm 27 with no other markers seen on the ultrasound and the Dr. Said she isn't concerned about it. I think i might be worrying over nothing. I appreciate u sharing ur story :-)

I was devastated with my first when I got the news so naturally I called my mom. She said would you get rid of the baby if he/she did have something wrong? I answered no so she said then what are you upset about. You are going to love your baby regardless, it would just be a heads up. Good luck to you!!

Both of my children had calcium in the hearts. My Dr sent me both times for a level 2 ultra sound which is a higher quality ultra sound. That Dr scared me and said that this is typically found in down syndrome children. It ended up being NOTHING. It is actually becoming more common now than before and is more common in males. Now that I am on my third the Dr just sends me for a level 2 just to be safe but shrugged it off as nothing. Btw I have 2 very healthy children, one boy and one girl. Don't stress it though. Especially if the other testing is fine
