Getting nervous

If any of you ladies have time to write about a birth story, I would like to hear it. I'm 38 weeks and getting small contractions and I'm getting nervous lol. I almost want to cry because I don't know what to expect. Thank you. Also if you did it naturally. I'm trying to go for it, lol.

Thank you for telling me them. It actually makes me feel good/at ease. It seemed like you weren't worried or I mean scared. I also have a high tolerance to pain so I think I might be good. Who knows. I also want to go natural. Good luck.

My first I was induced and drs broke my water it was such an easy delivery and i did get an epidural. My second I was a nanny for two other children plus my own and I just remember having light contractions all day nothing horrible I went upstairs to use the bathroom and came back down to prepare lunch for he kids mid lunch making it felt like I wet my pants my first thought was did I just pee my pants but I couldn't have I just went to the bathroom ... I got a little excited called the kids father my my kids father they contacted my replacement and my boyfriend was there in a matter of minutes he was so nervous I waited till his sister showed up to watch the kids and I took a bathroom wash cloth and put it in my underwear *so glad I did but thinking maybe I should of went for the towl ;) all the way there little bit of fluids came out enough to wet the washcloth i got to the hospital and took the elevator up to labor and delivery reached the floor and a huge gush :/ .. my water again I was soaked nurse wanted me to sit in a chair and fill out paper work I told her I don't think you want me on your chair :/... I got in a room and filled out the forms and they offered me a bath after checking my cervix all was fine until I took that darn bath then all hell broke out the pain got so bad I had to get out of the tub and my bf helped me get dressed .. well in a gown I was balling my eyes out telling him I need an epidural now I can't take it  so why he went to get something to eat I got my epidural I was a changed women I felt so much better shortly after I delivered her only a few pushes and she popped right out well after I yelled at her dad to stop starring at me like that :) he was smiling and it made it Hard to push with a guy smiling at your stuff !

The story above had me laughing. I know it was horrible but the "did you drink it?" Made me laugh. I probably would have said the same thing to her!

And no, with my first, the contractions actually weren't that bad. Everyone is different tho and I have a really high pain tolerance. I was also a lot younger then. I'm really curious what will happen this time.

(Premature post) was chilling, waiting for some awesome food when it finally occurred to me that, hey, I was having real contractions lol Got to the hosp and was fully efaced and 6cm dilated. However, my water hadn't broken. I waited and waited and waited. They finally had to break my water and after a 14hr ordeal, I had my oldest. Second son: was hanging out outside/exploring thewoods with my husband and my oldest. I went and sat down on the stairs. They called me over to look at something and when I stood up, I felt wetness. I told them I'd b back. Went upstairs and sat on the toilet and was leaking. It was weird bc I knew it wasn't pee bc I had already peed and was still leaking. It stopped so I went back outside. Well, it did it again, and again, and again. So I ended up sitting on the toilet for like 15minutes collecting it into a disposable plastic cup (bc I had gone to the hosp the week before for leaking and they sent me home). Finally, my husband came upstairs and opened the door and he had the weirdest look on his face. He said wth r u doing? I said well, I think my water broke so I'm collecting it to take to the hosp so I can prove to them my d*mn water broke and they can't send me home. We got there, got all hooked up to the machines, blah blah blah and I told the nurse what I had done with the cup. She looked at me, completely serious and said did u drink it? I looked at her, looked at my husband, looked back at her and said wtf? Wth would I do that? She said well some women crave strange things when they're  pregnant. Um Eww. Anyways so they took me upstairs, got me all set up...there was about 6 different docs that came in. My actual doc didn't even show. My water had broken and I was dilating but I wasn't having contractions. They told me if I didn't start contracting soon, I'd have to have a c section. They ended up giving me pictocin. I finally started responding and 12hrs later, had my youngest. Now, with this one, I really want to go natural. It's like, a main goal for me. Maybe this labor will b more interesting than my other two lol But those r my super boring and somehow long winded previous birth stories. Sorry for the long post of nothingness lol

I can tell I two but they aren't that interesting. My first son: was attending college/school for accounting. I started having contractions in the middle of class. I totally didn't even think about it. Went home and even ordered mass Chinese food
