I live in mobile Alabama. Is it mandatory that we stay in the hospital for the full 3 days if  baby and me are healthy or can we leave like the next day?

Lol! It does it sideways if you try to do it on your phone. You'll have to have access to a computer to make it do right... at least I did. I couldn't make it do right on my phone. Just log in on your computer and go to the profile tab then hit edit in the about me panel and upload a pic. You can do all kinds of stuff.

Oh and one more thing, you're the only person I've seen with a profile picture, how do I upload a profile picture?

I thought about it , but I really want my same doctor to deliver all my babies. I may reconsider.

No worries. And as far as not letting you hold the baby, they've no right to do that either. You need that skin to skin contact to bond with your babies. If you have the option, I'd travel to "visit" some family close to birth and just have your kid in another state. I know several who have done it. I grew up in Mississippi. We may not be the brightest but our hospitals and child care/rearing programs were pretty bada** when I was there. :P

You're so right Ms. KieaRai they are very nosey and like to bully. This is my 4th pregnancy but 3rd birth and I've had a hard time with each hospital stay. They won't even let me hold my baby while standing, they say move him/her around in the little baby bed thing.

Unless there is some major medical reason, you can leave as soon as you want to. They'll try to bully you in to staying and make you sign papers sayimg you're leaving against their wishes but they've no right to keep you if there is no problem. Most hospitals in/around your area like to try and be nosey. They want to watch how you are with the baby and offer advice that borders on too much. My best friend lives out there and had that problem when she gave birth each time with her 3 kids.
