First time pregnancy

This is my first time being pregnant. I didn't know I was pregnant at first, so I was still drinking. Not a lot, only once or twice a week. I'm freaking out now that I'm 6 months and I feel little pokes and jabs and occasional fluttery in my abdomen...but I don't feel them all the time, just a few times a day and at night. Is this normal? Should the baby be moving more? Should I feel it more? The doctors said the risk is slim but I'm still nervous.

I didnt know I was pregnant at first either until I was 6 weeks. I drank pretty much every night and I could drink my fair share of beer. So far everything looks good with my little guy and im almost 35 weeks. I didnt feel my little guy move consistently at first either. Plus, just like us, they have days where they are more active than others. If you drink something cold or hot or eat something with a lot of sugar it can cause them to move more than they normally would. That's how my little guy is. Every time I eat a full meal (more than just a snack) he will be really active for a while. There will be days when they dont move as much and you won't feel their little pokes and jabs as much as others. Usually isnt too big of a concern unless it's been a few days with little to no movement felt at all.

that's normal!! baby movement increased the bigger baby gets. I didn't start feeling my baby move all throughout the day until about 30 weeks.
