Lmp is only accurate if your cycles are regular.

The medical field bases everything around the lmp, but there is a 14~16 day difference from lmp to ovulation, so i go by lmp to my dr, but for myself i subtract 2 weeks

I think it's better to go of when you ovulated if you know it. Some drs will believe you and some won't.. So it's hard to say but normally they base it off an ultrasound anyways.

My period and scans all matched, there was like 5 days difference (which makes sense for when I had my period and when it had finished and I had sex ) and the Dr is going by my period date this time, which is so gud :) but with my first they stuffed around with scan dates etc but didn't care about last period. I think it depends on the Dr.

According to my last period I should be 23 weeks but my doctor is going off my first ultrasound which makes me 21 weeks monday and he said that might still change when I have my next ultrasound monday.

Same thing here. We were trying, so I know when I got pregnant, but the drs calculate it from ur last period. They will also do an ultrasound too so they can messure the fetus and tell exactly how far you are along. Turned out for me, it shown exactly what the calculation from my last period said too.
