How likely she'll get pregnant????

I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend 8 days after she started YAZ after being off of BC for months. I think I may have come a little inside, and pulled out for 97% of climax. I know the packaging says your protected after 7 days. But I usually ALWAYS use a condom, but slipped up this one time. Stupid I know. Other thing is, she doesnt take the pill at the same time every day. What are the odds she can be pregnant?

People get pregnant on the pill all the time. Shoot...I am even here because of it. It will lower your chances but not make it impossible. The only way to guarantee that is abstinence. Even with a condom...things can happen.

After speaking to a doc once i used to say you cant get pregnant on the pill, if you take it correctly and do as adviced then you wont get pregnant.......... i took mine at the same time every day, was never sick or on antibiotics, never missed one, i then went on the depo, i didnt have sex until after the advised 7 days, probably longer than that..... then i started noticing things like my nipples getting bigger and darker, asked the nurse and she did a test as a precaution.... i was pregnant, nearly 18 weeks pregnant!!! So you can get pregnant while taking the pill properly lol

I always took my BC at night but never at the same time. I didn't get pregnant doing that and I was on a very low dose BC.

Cindy,

Thanks for the reply. I know in general the chances of getting pregnant are actually pretty slim. I know better, and won't do it again, but was just worried because it was only like 8 days into the BC pills. And she didnt take them at the same time each day, which apparently doesnt matter as much with YAZ. Its recommended, but I guess "okay"?

Not to scare ya but my first child I got pregnant while on the pill and took it as directed for years. It's possible but chances are VERY slim. You always take a chance when having sex, even with tubes ties, ex...
