36 weeks and baby is measuring small

My first baby was 5.15lbs and second was 4.8lbs. this time around we've talked the whole time about monitoring the babys size...I was scheduled for an extra ultrasounds at 32 weeks and baby looked good. Now today at my 36 week appointment I'm measuring small again and in the past I've delivered in the 37th week for both pregnancies. My doctor wanted to send me for an ultrasound again to check on baby, but they can't schedule me until 1/16...I'll be 38 weeks. I'm so annoyed, because I'm assuming it's enough to be concerned about, but they don't seem to be making my baby a priority to get checked. Anyone have any advice?

When i was pregnant with my daughter all the doctors where scared that she was too small because my stomach was so small and when I went to my last sonogram before she was born they said that she was 8lb or 9lb and would be between 10lb to 15lb by her due date she ended up being 6lb 9oz they can never be sure on how big your baby is as long as you eat right and stay healthy don't do anything dangerous im sure you and your baby will be fine....

If their ultra sound techs are full of appointments already you can't be mad that they can't get you in sooner. 38 weeks isn't a big deal. You might make it that long anyway.
Just stay away from sex, spicy food, car rides, etc

Are you even dilating yet?

I had an ultrasound at 30 weeks, baby was in the 47th percentile. Then, last week at 34 weeks - the baby measured small too, at 21st percentile. They said the weight was 4lb 16oz. Basically, they told me that the blood flow looks good and everything is normal.
As long as the baby doesn't fall below 3%, they are not concerned.

With you being this late in the pregnancy, they probably feel the same way. Even if the baby is small, the size was probably adequate for them not to the concerned. Just try to stay calm, seems like you probably just have smaller babies.

Sorry you have to wait.. Just try to stay positive, you are almost there!! The baby will be coming soon, even if he/she is a bit smaller I'm sure its nothing critical.

She didn't say..I think that's why she wants the ultrasound.
I'm 32 weeks 4 days and they say my baby is already 5lbs 4oz which makes him in the 95% range that scares me but being under weight is def alot scarier
