How long does it take?

Hi every one! I am having big scan on friday ( I am 21weeks today). Just wondering roughly how long this takes and if I will get any other tests done at this appointment I live in the UK.  Cant wait to see my baby again!

Thanks!

I don't know if you will get another one. But, my 20+ weeks took a long time (hour +) because my boy was really moving and the tech was having a hard time getting all of the measurements that the Dr. wanted.

Sorry posted before I finished.

In the UK your last scan is between 18-22 weeks, and you will only be offered more if you are high risk or if babys not growing or developing as it should. So even tho its sad not to get another, at least your pregnancy will be healthy.

Im frok the uk too, it will usually take about 10/15 minutes, it's just for them to take measurements of baby to make sure it growing right and check, brain, organs, placenta, amniotic fluid levels etc. May take longer than 15 mins if baby is in a awkward position. Unfortunately no you won't get another one.
