How many was induced

So I'm high risk and 32 weeks. My pass appointment we talked labor. We talked about my being induced at 39 weeks. I been hearing sometimes being induced can slow down labor which cause a c section. I would like to wait until it starts on its own. How many ppl was induced and had to get a c section later in deliver cause it slowed down.

Thanks ladies I see if I go over due it's fine. But I don't want to be induced early. They said by 40w5days I'm going to be induced. I don't want to feel selfish by not going in early if everything is fine besides me being high risk

I was induced, but was already past my due date. After 23 hrs of labor I was able to deliver vaginally. So don't stress, not all inductions end in a c-section.

I was induced 10 days after my due date and nothing happened. Had a c-section the next night atalmost 12 days late. I was literally not dilating at all. I was in pain from the pitocin and was told an epi would just slow it down more so I had the cesarean. Good thing too bc the cord was around his foot and neck!

I was induced with my first son and was in labor for 27 hours before they did a emergency c- section bc the cord was around his neck.I think it would be easier to wait till your body is ready. So women take to being induced good others dont.
