How much water to drink?

I have read various articles that say to drink six to eight glasses of water a day while others say to drink twelve to sixteen glasses a day. What is the recommended amount? How much water do most people usually try to drink per day?

Drink half your body weight in ounces... 200 lbs would be 100 oz

6-8 is normal when you're NOT pregnant and it's the minimum. When you're pregnant you need much more to keep you and baby hydrated and to keep your body flushed so you have less risk of getting infections.

Take your weight and decide it by 2 abs that's how many oz. So say you weigh 150 you would drink 75oz a day. Now since it's starting to get warmer I would do a little more as it's easy to get dehydrated during pregnancy especially if you are outside much. I'm trying to drink at least 90oz a day if not a little more because it's already in the 90s where I'm at and I don't have ac. So my house was 80 degrees inside today.
