Sweep

I am 39 weeks+4 days. Had the sweep today. She said my cervix is soft and she could feel top of baby's head.  Has anyone gone into labour before shortly after having this done?......

My waters have broken but no Contractions.  Going to hospital for assessment later.

I have had 4 stretch and sweeps this pregnancy and still no sign of baby :( my last being yesterday.
I have also walked 7kms after every S&S and nothing.
Bub will come when Bub is ready or when they induce me. I've given up on getting my hopes up. Dr's have tried acupressure along with the stretch and sweep and long walks. Booked in for induction as my body is just not cooperating. I have had pre labour for 2 and a half weeks with constant contractions everyday. Lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago, dilated with soft thin cervix, head engaged and nothing. I'm past my due date also :(

I had a sweep done at 40w2d and went into labor that night. I had strong contractions right after but they died down later that evening and picked up again around 11pm. I gave birth to my son the next morning. Good luck!

I had one for 3 out of 4 babies, worked every time. Lots of sex and walking

Yes had sweep bout 1 that day then went in2 labour at 2am nxt day

I hope it works for you. I had two sweeps with my 3rd and she was still 13 days over. Good luck to you x
