Imaslice, didn't you find Ina May too set against modern medicine?
Birthing from within is prob my fav book. Otherwise Ina mays guide to childbirth. Also the other baby book, a natural approach to baby's first year. I really don't like the what to expect books, you are better off finding a family Dr that you trust and can call day or night with questions
I read a book called my pregnancy and birth. It's won't help after baby but great info for pregnancy and labor etc. I personally don't care for the what to expect books :-(
Pregnancy For Dummies. Jk. I wish they had it when I had my first!
50 shades or something similar for after the baby ; D
I have the what to expect when your expecting series but I also have one called "your pregnancy week by week" by glade b. Curtis, m.d.,ob/gyn and Judith schuler,m.s. I like this one also because it gives detailed description on each stage. And has some pictures also.
I was considering both books. I did not know 'What to expect' had a series.
I got the pregnancy bible, like it alot
I got what to expect while expecting and what to expect the first year...they both give a lot of information!
I got the "what to expect when you're expecting" series. I got them at a second hand store for cheap. I appreciate them.
Mayo clinic is good but not extensive for post natal.
