A small cup daily should be fine. Check with your doctor to make sure you don't have any risks with it like high blood pressure. And drink plenty of water the rest of the day. I know I can't function without my one cup of coffee.
Yeah one cup of coffee a day is fine,we are allowed 200mg or could be 300mg of caffiene a day during pregnancy
Caffeine is fine in moderation. I think they say about 220 mg daily. One or two cups is fine
I have to have my one cup in the morning. I just don't drink any other caffeinated drinks and I drink a lot of water...
I drink a cup every morning. You're allowed 200/250 mg i think of caffiene.
I drink two homemade cups a day and my doctor hasn't said a thing. The only thing he told me is if I go to a coffee shop get the smallest cup possible and limit myself just to that one cup.
I was under the impression it was 100 mg but even a 20oz bottle of pop (which I drink every day) is less than that. The caffeine will help in your 2nd/ 3rd trimesters when headaches start coming regularly. I cut down on my intake from nearly 3xs what I drink/eat now (remember chocolate has caffeine too!) By only having a set amount available to me, then cutting it down... I keep my one bottle with me all day and only have sips but that won't be as helpful with hot coffee.
I am 6 weeks pregnant and I drink 2 cup everyday.I tried decaffeinated but I was very sleepy during awork so I went back to regular.
Thanks ladies.... I feel much better knowing im not the only one drinkig coffee
I always drink coffee... one or two cups a day and people are really judgey about it and look at me oddly when I order it. I was feeling like such a rebel! I'm happy to see everyone else is ok with it too. With my first I drank it and she was born very big and still is very tall. She has no signs of add. If that makes you feel better.. I really think its ok!
2 cups per day is ok! Skip the decaf, dont know exactly what it is, (cant remember what my doc said) but it contains something thats not good for pregnant women. Better to drink normal coffee in moderation!
