I have GD, do I need induction?

I have 13 days left!and I have GD!do you think I'll need induction before my due date?if yes,can I schedule the date that I want?only reason I'm asking this because my husband need to be sure of the date and take off from work.

Im gd and we are inducing me at 38 weeks. We didnt have a choice of when. If u can i suggest  during the work week more ppl there mon-fri. Good luck

I'm type 2diabetic n 24 wks. My Dr's have already set my induction date at 37wks 2days. If I make it that far due to multiple complications.

What is the different between type 1 and type 2?I have no idea which one I have.but I'm 38 weeks 2 days today. Having an appointment with my doctor soon. should I ask her when they can induced me?

I have GD but everything has been good for my entire pregnancy minus the increasing insulin. They said unless something is wrong with the baby or he becomes to big, I should be able to give a vaginal birth. No c section recommended yet, I'm 33 weeks 4 days.

Type 1 and type 2 mean that you had diabeties before you were pregnant,  not just gestational .  They will let you go close to the 40 wks with GD but it depends on what baby is measuring because the babies tend to be bigger and that can cause issues. my GF was allowed to wait but they did induce her at 40wk 1 day when she had GD

I went to my doctor appointment today. they told me they will induced me on my due date or around my due date which is the coming 16th.

type 1 youre not producing insulin type 2 you're producing but not enough which is what I have now gd pregnancy diabetes can be completely controlled with diet had it with my second you must be careful cause it can lead to type 2...with gd I carried fullterm they don't typically take the baby early in this case unless there are other issues they did induce but not early....this one they may take at 38 but that depends on size

My dr is going to induce me at 39 wks since I have GD. I'm currently 37 wks.  Hopefully I go natural though.  I'm on#4 never been induced  b4. Plus first time ever having GD
