I'm confused

My last cycle was 8/12/13-8/17/13 and my doctor says I'm 2 1/2 weeks pregnant which I found this out on the 5th of this month, now according to the calculations from this site I'm 4 weeks and 1 day amd my period track that I use says pretty much the same thing. From the things I have read on this site u can not determine if your pregnant during the second week and that the last cycle you have really isn't a cycle it is spotting but if that is true why was my spotting so long I never had that problem with my other 3 kids and my cycle normally last 5 days...

Some people will have spotting or implantation bleeding after their last period but some people don't have anything after their last period. I'm in my fourth pregnancy and I've never experienced either spotting or implantation bleeding. That's why the calculators that estimate your due date like on here aren't always accurate. Your most accurate date will come from the ultrasound. :-)

Go from your due date and it will match with whatyour doctor says. You can't go by your last period you have to go by when you conceived so your doctor is right, they're going by your hormone levels which are rpretty accurate

You are counting from.the day of last.period and your doctor.could.be counting.from the day of ovulation and conception. Its complicated.
