aside from stretch marks, the scar isn't even noticeable after one or two years. I hope your babies move into the right positions! csections aren't fun at all, but you can do everything normally except getting up and sitting down is a little more strenuous! good luck!
Thank you sooo much.. This does help
I had a painful 6 month long recovery, but it's all just on how your body reacts to the procedure. I was 24, very active, worked up until 39.5 weeks with a perfect pregnancy, and had the best doctor in town. It's just a roll of the dice, just like having back pains after an epidural...
Just make sure you have a birth plan worked up and you should be fine. I was in bed for a long time after the surgery because I was given a drug that causes drowsiness. (I literally would fall asleep while talking to people the whole first day.) I have since learned that you can request a nondrowsy drug instead.
Also, the hospital did not allow immediate breastfeeding (in the OR), but as soon as I was wheeLed into recovery I was allowed to. You just have to tell your doctor what you will want (for if it does happen) and you may have to work around the hospitals restrictions.
I would do anything for my girls, I am just scared.. I didn't know if your tummy looked like a crumpled piece of bacon for the rest of your life.. Stupid I know to think of such
T scar is so low. Let's just say they have to shave you before because it's so low. And you can do whatever a vaginal birth allows you just can't move as fast or as well. I will be having my 3rd soon I have no choice :-( but I don't mind as long as my babies are healthy and safe.
I'll be having my 3rd and you have a scar but the way I look at it is that's my beauty mark from my babies. I hurt for about two - three weeks then I start feeling better. I fed both of my kids when I came out of recovery. No one ever wants one but we all do what's best for our kids. Good luck momma
