Another old wives tale I thought was cute!

Last week, I went to a shipmates reenlistment. I never met his wife or 1yr old son before. I walked in late, b/c I had the wrong info. Anyway, I walked in, said a general "Hi, everybody", and this adorable little boy(the son) ran to me with arms in the air as if to say "pick me up." I did and he sat on my lap majority of my time there. As I was leaving, my shipmate pulled me to the side and said, "I don't want to jinx you, but you know what it is means when a boy child just runs up to you while your pregnant, right?"
"No..."
"You're having a girl."
Lol. Granted, it's just an old wives tale. I cracked up! I just thought he was friendly. I find out the sex of my baby in May. I'm hoping for a boy. So, if I got jinxed, I'm going to be mad. Lol!

I have always had little boys and girls flock to me while pregnant, all 3 are girls. My older 2 girls are attached at the hip right now. I wish this wives tale were true, I would've loved a boy, just for a change of pace. At the same time quite excited to be having another little girl :)

How funny, now I am going to be freaking out... Of course all I want is a healthy baby but we really want a boy first and ironically we were at my aunts for easter dinner and a little boy i had never met kept telling me how pretty i was aand he said he wanted to be bffs and watch the disney channel

My boyfriends niece is only 5months and she loves for me to carry her and plays wig me and laughs when I'm talking to her. My daughter is 6years old and takes care of me yes sometimea she has attitude but its normal lol its jus the way she is. Lol but my brother on the other hand is 7years old and likes to fight with me and argue all the time but he always wants to do things with me and spend the nite at my house. I though I was having a boy up until last friday I was told I was having a girl lol

I have heard that too! I was at the chiropractor today and I was in the middle of an adjustment and some random 2-3 yr old kid walks in my room and just starts smiling at me & staring WHILE the chiropractor is adjusting me.  

Maybe mine is a boy.  We didn't find out gender and I'm 39 weeks & 4 days. I'll find out soon enough! :)

That's neat, because I visited some family and friends recently and the little boys that were around  wouldn't leave me alone at all! I won't know what I'm having for another couple of weeks, but still very interesting because me and hubby swear up and down we are having a boy. Now I might have to question what I'm having, either way I'm happy. :)

My daughter loves the fact I'm pregnant she's not moody being a good girl people aswell tells me it might be a boy but thn my nephew which I harley see was so attached to me it was wierd so I'm confused lol its still a while until I know wat I'm hving

My daughter can't stand me most of the time and I'm prego with a girl! My nephew can't seem to leave me alone even calls me in the middle of the night and always wants to come over alone stay with me he's 2! I say this might be tru! When my sis was pregnant with him was the only time my daughter would let her hold or play with her!
