It will be a gush of liquid. You'll know when it happens because it will be way more than if you had peed yourself. One way to test if it is your water is to put a pad on and if you can soak it up than it's your water.

I was laying in bed heard a pop and seriously it felt like I peed myself. Went to the bathroom it gushed out . And it kept gushing the next 12 hrs. I road to the hospital with a towel between my legs...that was a sight walking into the hospital in a dress straddling a towel lol.

Ahh, good.  Sometimes people are trying to figure out if their water broke here.  I had my water broke with both of my babies.  They used this thing like a crochet hook. LOL  And it doesn't hurt a bit, but then a warm gush of liquid comes spewing out.  Like they popped a balloon filled with water.  Most of my friends had to have their water broke for them.  So, don't be upset if you have to go that route.  It's easy and not at all uncommon.  Otherwise, you'll definitely know when it happens.  It's a good amount of liquid. good luck sweetie.  You are almost there!!!

For a lot of women, it's like a gush of liquid coming out. Not just like you peed although at the end of pregnancy, we can emit some urine when we sneeze.  So, many do question.  But overall, you know as it is a bigger than usual gush of liquid.  How far along are you?
