I was induced at 35 weeks due to severe pre eclampsia.  Ended up having an emergency c-section because labor was so hard on him.

I was induced at 40+6...I was 1 cm dilated but not effaced at all and baby was high up still. Went in at 4am and pitocin started at 530am. Dr broke my water at 9ish. At 3cm I got an epidural which was probably like 4pm? Then they put something on my Uterus to make me contract more and I went from 3-10cm in less than an hour. I pushed for less than an hour and my baby girl was born vaginally at649pm. So about 13 hours of labor....honestly wasn't as painful as I expected but I had a 3rd degree tear which healing from was really painful. Overall once I had the epidural I felt nothing. It wasn't as scary to be induced as I made it out to be. Good luck, mama!
