Yeah I think I'm gonna try that, and when I see my doctor, I'm gonna ask her if I can take the sleepy time tea
I am 37wks and haven't had a good night's sleep in months. I cant fall asleep and when i finally do i wake up with hip or shoulder pain. I remembered the other day during my first trimester my doctor told me to take a b12 vitamin and a unisom sleep aid to reduce my nausea, so i asked my ob monday at my 37wk check up if i can take Tylenol PM since its just Tylenol with a sleep aid in it, he said yes and let me tell you....LIFE SAVER!! Monday night and last night both i have been in bed and asleep by 11pm and slept throughout the entire night without even waking up to pee. It is heaven, i hope if you try it out it works as well for you guys bc i know i have two kids that are school age and getting up at 6:30 everyday and getting them off to school and trying to finish up my nesting has been extremely hard on no sleep, i have been so worried that id go into labor and already be exhausted but now that im sleeping through the nights again i feel soo much better.
Awww, tattqueen, I know how that is, I'm a light sleeper now with this pregnancy, and I hate it, everything wakes me up
I'm 32 weeks I can't ever fall asleep at a normal time with this pregnancy. I also sleep lighter then when I want pregnant, normally nothing could wake me. Now everything wakes me or keeps me up. I've tried everything but meds to sleep abd nothing works. Usually I just stay in bed in the phone or watch tv. More recently I've switched to just listening to netflix in my phone so I have something to listen to but not such a bright light. It's helping but not enough. I only get 5 or so hours of sleep. By the time I fall asleep my 5 year old is getting up shortly after that. Needless to say I've been one tired cranky mama
I've been getting maybe 4 hours a night/day. I get so bored.
I'm gonna have to try those sleepy teas, that helped me before last year, so let's see if it works now, I even have rls and I'm only on my first trimester, I'm not supposed to have that yet
Me too. Really tired but soooo unconfortable its near impossible to have a good night sleep. On a good night, i sleep maximum 5 hours, 1 or 2 hours at a time. I'm a big sleeper so i need my 8 hours minimum to function normally the next day. People around me are laughing when i explain the problem, saying i'll be even more tired once baby is there.
You can produce melatonine naturally by getting maximum sun light during the day and avoiding screens like tv or phone in the 30 minutes to 1 hour before going to bed.
Same here, I'm 33 weeks and just scant fall asleep :/
My Dr recommended melatonin as I can't fall asleep, I also use a nature relax app on my phone, I personally like falling asleep to the sound of rain. I normally have a hard time sleeping but it's gotten even harder with this pregnancy even though I've kept my routine the same. Best of luck!
Oh wow, I don't know but last year, with my first son, I was tired all the time, and sleepy, but now, I'm only 6 weeks, but I don't sleep that good
Not only you I have the same problem which started before me knowing I'm pregnant.l didn't try bendryl yet. One day I stayed awake till 7 am .
