Irregular periods and pregancy

i have irregular periods. i am trying to get pregnant. Got an ultrasound in Dec 2012 and told by doc to check for ovulation using OPK kits as every thing was OK. The last Jan,Feb,mar,April i didn't have any blood (sometimes very little blood) during my periods , its only brow discharge. My cycle duration is 23- 26 days.
I had my period on May 6, it was 2 days light and 3 days medium bleeding and then spotting.
i didnt see any signs of ovulation. i get color on my OPK but never was very dark.
May 30, my doc done an ultrasound and told my walls are thin, that means i may not have ovulated. Gave a blood to check progesterone levels, report yet to come. So was prescribed clomid 2-7days of my cycle. June 1st had spotting and June 2 had little bleeding when i pee. Today early morning i had some blood in the urine, After that few drops when i pee. Can i count today as my CD2? Because i took clomid pills today. Will everything be OK. i am wooried

I have had very long and irregular periods forever. My husband and I tried for a year and two months, I really thought I couldn't get pregnant. But I am over weight too. We stopped "trying" and just enjoyed it and said okay, it will happen when it happens and it did! We did it a lot and fun and trying not to worry anymore and I'm 10 weeks now!

I did those tests too for 2 cycles and mine never showed a very dark color and i found it very hard to tell when it matched up and after not conceiving during either cycle i splurged and bought the first response digital ovulation test kit it tells you a definite "yes" or "no"whether your ovulating i used it one cycle and ten days after ovulated and had intercourse 3 days in a row i got a positive pregnancy test :) the digital kit was only 20 bucks more than the other one  so you should try it it might just work for you i was told that if i could just pinpoint my ovulation day my chances of conceiving were very high good luck!!! :)

A friend once told me birth control pills will regulate your periods. I have irregular periods as well and I just got pregnant for the first time ever in my life after being with someone for 7yrs and I'm 29. It will happen when u least expect it. I wish u the best of luck and I hope this little piece of info helps.
