I take tums and just started some zantac. The zantac is a LIFESAVER! I was having a hard time sleeping because of heartburn and the past couple days i have not had any

My dr told me its okay to have the tums.. its extra calcium for baby too. I take a generic Prevacid for heartburn which is okay. As long as it fits in category a or b it is fine. So some over the counter heartburn pills are okay. I also take a magnesium supplement everyday that helps ke with heartburn too.

They are safe ive been taking my whole pregnancy and im 36w today. Dr even said over the counter heartburn meds are ok like nexium types. Good luck . I feel the burn too lol prob even go thru about half a gallon of milk daily and no relief.  Had heartburn with my daughter also and no full head of hair lke most say.. we will see but hope you do find some relief!

I've had to tale rolaids and or tums due to heartburn.....I did it with my daughters pregnancy and had no issues with her......pregnant with another girl and I've had to take them to help again.....
