Is it safe to fly and be in the sun in early pregnancy?

Hi, I am pregnant and going to the bahamas next month. I will be 9-10 weeks pregnant. I know you aren't supposed to fly late in pregnancy, but is it ok now too? And will it be ok to be out on the beach all day for a week? I know I don't need to get too hot but wanted to make sure sun exposure was ok.

Perfectly safe. Just make sure you get up and walk a little during your flight to prevent blood clots. Increase you SPF on your sunscreen. Many pregnant women have more sensitive skin so you may burn easier. Have fun!!!!!

Its ok to fly. I flew cross country when I was 12-13 weeks. Other than getting a little airsick and having to use the bathroom more often I was fine. With the sun exposure just make sure you have good sunscreen and reapply often. Sunscreens that claim to be "waterproof" are really only water resistant. Also keep hydrated, and have fun!!!
