I suffer from broken and most of the time infected wisdom teeth. I took 2 extra strength Tylenol every six hours. It got so bad I was exceeding the daily dosage and my Dr prescribed something else for me. I was lucky and had no bad results for me or baby.

Every six hours is fine if you are still in pain contact your Dr and don't take more then they tell you because it can cause you liver damage.

Two every six hours is the maximum dose (4000 mg), but I usually advise my pregnant patients (I'm a pharmacist) to take as little medication as possible.  I would only take one every 4 to 6 hours if absolutely necessary, and try nondrug methods like a cool washcloth on your forehead.

The 500 you just take 1 pill.  500 MG is extra strength.  The normal Tylenol 325 mg you can take 2.
