No Braxton Hicks

I'm 35wks and 5days. I haven't felt anything that could be considered Braxton Hicks. Is that normal? This is my first pregnancy. I'm not rushing the pain, but I want to make sure my body is "working properly"(for lack of better terms).

@coachysmom Why did the doctor allow you to be 11 days late? He didn't want to induce you any sooner?

With my first, I didn't feel any contractions until I was 11 days late and on pitocin.

I asked my doctor yesterday why I have not felt them yet too. She asked if my stomach gets very hard like a basketball.  I said yes, every now and then. She said that is it, I just don't have the pain but the uterus is practicing.

I got not a single one with my first pregnancy. Now wit my second I am 37 weeks and been having them so strong and consistent since before my 3rd trimester even began. Don't stress! :)

I'm 38 weeks now and never experienced any contractions whatsoever. Bits of pressure nowadays because our boy is already settled in for his arrival. But no Braxton. Then on he kicked and wiggled enough so I don't feel like I'm missing a lot here :-)

Usually first time moms don't experience it. Second time moms are more prone to Braxton hicks.
