FTM..39 weeks. is it safe?
I'm 39 weeks today. I lost my mucus plug this morning and few hours later had my bloody show. Just wondering if it's still ok to have sex.I have no signs of contractions ...my stomach just has been really tight feeling the last 24 hours.
The prostaglandins in sperm can help some women progress labor at this point. As long as your water hasn't broken and you don't have restrictions from your doctor, it's fine. Good luck Momma and hopefully you'll be holding your little one soon.

Yes it's safe. You only need to worry about infection if your water has broke. If you only lost you mucus plug you can continue doing anything you were before. It may even help you go into labor.
What was it like when you had your bloody show?
Im not sure I heard no cuz it can cause an infection. Call your dr office and ask the nurse to make sure.
