Itching Belly ! :(

I'm 31 weeks & my stomach itches so much! I try not to scratch it because I've gotten a couple stretch marks. Cocoa butter seems to make it itch worse. What works for itching besides cocoa butter?

You may be developing PUPPS. I would suggest you drink Dandelion Root Tea, it works from the inside out. Plus it also comes in capsules. It helps purify your liver and kidneys in order to rid your body of excess Toxins and water. Google it and see for yourself. Smothering your belly won't make it better. Cure the itch

Id say add some Olive oil to a bath at night- don't use shower gel to wash in this bath! Just rub the oily water over ur bump gently & the rest of ur body aswel, will help with itching & stretch marks :) also good old e45 cream is great! I use this every morning after my shower! I'm 32 wks #3 no stretch marks :)

Are you using pure cocoa butter that u have to melt to apply. becuz if it's just a cocoa butter lotion it's not gonna help very much those are mostly water. A oil mixed with a cream will work good. The oil will help carry the cream through ur skin & moisturize. I use Shea butter and almond oil. Also u want to apply it a few times a day. Hope that helps!

Aveeno eczema care cream works wonders. I used to rub a loofa on my stomach for half an hour or more in the shower because my stomach was so itchy...after using the cream religiously at night for about 4 days, no more redness or itching. :)
