kind of embarrassing...

So with this pregnancy I'm noticing a lot more discharge and my smell is different. I also spot on and off... I've told my Dr about it and all he tells me is to abstain from sex.... But my issue remains the same regardless of if my hubby and I have sex or not. At this point I don't even want to bring it up to my Dr anymore because I feel like a broken record. .... is this normal??

I haven't been tested for a yeast infection so I'll bring it up when I go in for my appointment. The reason he gave me for not having sex was because the first time I mentioned it to him he had said that the spotting could be from sex and that could cause the other symptoms. It's just really frustrating for me because in not used to this. But I will Definitely try the yogurt thing and I'll voice my concerns at my appointment. Thanks ladies! :)

With both my pregnancies i have had a significant amount of discharge. It is embarrassing to talk about so i understand where you are coming from. I do not have any infections, it is just how my body does with pregnancy. Some days are way worse than others. But with you spotting, i think you shoukd mention it to your dr again.

Have they tested you for a yeast infection?  Many women get then during pregnancy. It is nothing to be embarrassed about,  we're all ladies here.  The only thing I can't figure out is why your doctor told you to abstain from intercourse if he doesn't think you have some sort of infection going on.
