Any mothers gave birth w/o meds?
I recently watched the documentary series "The Business of Being Born"(on Netflix if you want to watch). I'm convinced that I want to have my baby 100% natural. Have any of you ladies done so? Is it as bad as the tv clips? Thanks in advance!
I had my son naturally! The contractions hurt but as soon as my water broke that was all the pain relief i needed:)) I'm going all natural this time too! Hopefully i suck it up && go with that. Congratulations

I had my first son all natural it hurt bad but i rather deal with all the pain instaed of having my baby all druged. I pln on having my second son all natural too
My mom had a natural birth with all 4 of her kids and my little bro was 9#12oz. My bff naturally delivered her 10#1 oz soon. And she's very petite. 5'4" 110 pre pregnanxy. Our bodies were designed for this.
How far along are you? It is never too late to start preparing but start now. Make sure DH and whoever else might be in the delivery room with you, mom, etc know your wishes. Tell your dr. Make a birth plan and DH and I even had a code word for if I reeeeeeally wanted the epidural and was not just the pain talking.
I wanted a natural birth but caved and got an epidural. I went to the hospital at a 1 and in an hour n half I got to an 8 by myself but they didn't check me until after giving me the epi and I was so mad if I had known I only had 2 more cm to go I know I could have done it!
Positive affirmations are helpful and I can give you some pain distraction tips if you'd like. You can do this! I am going to try so much harder with #2 this time.
Also watch PREGNANT IN AMERICA on Netflix. Is very telling about hospitals. Not scary, just helps you understand some possible underlying motives against natural birth.
