Have some sparkling cider and let your fiancé drink on your behalf. Like you said it's better to be safe than sorry, you don't need alcohol to celebrate.
Ok, thank you! Btw, I'm not the one carrying the baby....my fiancé is...lol, but I understood what you were saying :).
Lol, i completely read that wrong. Have a happy birthday and congrats on your baby.
I wouldn't risk it... but then again a lot ladies do drink in pregnancy but you really don't want your baby at risk?,,,,
Ur in ur first trimester I would wait till after.I love wine coolers its just to risky.first trimester!!!! Its where everything is being formed in that time frame. But up to u
I wouldn't let her risk it. Although some women can drink their whole pregnancies and have perfect babies some have one drink and end up with a baby with fetal alcohol syndrome. You just never know. It's just 9 months her next birthday you can get her smashed.
I say no alcohol at all while pregnant. Any amount could hurt your baby and its not worth it. I have sparkling cider or grape juice when I'm craving something other than water :)
I know someone who was pregnant at the same time as me, the last time I was pregnant. She occasionally drank wine, Dr said it was fine. Now, my child is developmentally further ahead than hers. Could be genetics, could be from wine... I wouldn't risk it!
I definitely wouldnt shes in her 1st trimester and thats one of the most critical periods. Its not worth the risk.
Drinking is risky in any trimester, your babies nervous system is developing the whole pregnancy. Alcohol affects your nervous system
Not in the first trimester!
I would absolutely skip it! I'm extra cautious. ...
My doc says one glass of wine occasionally is fine but nothing regularly. I have had 2 half mimosas so far during my pregnancy and sips of someone elses wine here or there. Also my husband is a doctor and we have two dear friends who are obgyns.... all day an occasional drink is fine.
Only in the US is it frowned upon to drink any alcohol during pregnancy, in other countries it's considered fine. Use your own judgement, but I don't think one wine cooler would harm the baby. My personal choice is not to drink, but I don't see any harm in having one.
