I agree with Han28kp I understand the freak out thing my husband has been there but never once has it been acceptable to treat me like garbage.  When my husband has said something hurtful I have been very clear that its not okay to treat that way.  Its not worth talking to him when he is drunk but when he diners up he needs to know he hurt u and that his behavior is unacceptable. He will treat u the way u let him treat u so it will only blow over til the next time.  No excuse for it.

My guess is hes just freaking out. My husband did the same (freak out, not wasted though)  when we found out we were pregnant with out daughter. And now were pregnant again and another freak out. My girlfriends husband did the same also when they found out about their kids too! It must be a guy thing. Just let it blow over for a few weeks and let it sink in. They eventually come around. :)
