19 weeks and I haven't felt movement

I'm almost 20 weeks and I haven't felt a thing. Even the doc thinks it's weird that I haven't felt anything. They have listened to the heartbeat and the baby even "kicked" the monitor but I can't feel a thing. I'm a ftm and I was heavy to begin with. I also haven't gained a single pound in fact I have lost 10 lbs since I found out. Any one else had/have this problem?

If this is your first pregnancy it may take you longer to feel your baby kicks because you don't know what you don't how it feels. It's possible that your baby is in an anterior  position which is nothing to worry about but s/he maybe kicking the placenta if that's the case you may not feel the kicks until the baby is stronger. Your body size may have something to do with it also. I think there's  no reason to worry just relax you will feel your little one tap dancing on your bladder before you know it.

I am having the same issue and this is my second pregnancy. I was told that it may take until 23 weeks and just be patient because the baby is healthy. The suspense kills me!!
