Has anyone had hemorrhoids? How do/did you treat them?

In order for me to get them gone I have to use the (tmi) applicator that goes into your butt so I can push them back in cause there spouse to be in and not out. Try not to push at all when you poo cause it makes them worse I just sit there for a while which ***** but it works. I have delt with them my whole life and with pregnancy there way worse.

@juzuki: Around 7 months.. a lot of ppl don't get them; I didn't get them before. & thank you ladies for being helpful. I was instructed to either use the cream OR the wipes, Im going to use the cream.

I just used prep H wipes a couple times after using the bathroom #1 or#2.

I have one with this pregnancy at first was very painful. My doctor gave me a RX for proctofoam it has hydrocortisone in it and it helped shrink mine, which was external and very painful! I also took Epsom salt baths. The pain has gone and it's starting to go back in which is amazing lol it was the size of a grape!

I know this is super TMI but my mom told me to cut a piece of potato about the size of your pinky nail and stuck it in your bu.tt not too far cuz you need to take it out every time you go to the restroom and replace it. I honestly don't remember if I would keep it there overnight but I don't recommend it.

A peanut! Mine is like a small grape! Lol! No I have not found anything to make them smaller either, I know u can get surgery if the dr thinks its necessary...

I agree w fruitloop prep h cream and witch hazel pads help with symptoms but I cant find anything that helps w swelling and shrinking them....anybody know how to totally get rid of them I have one that is the size of a peanut no symptoms but it wont go away :(

Yes. I have never had them before I had to google it.to find out that I had one! I just bought some generic tucks pads(with witch hazel) and that helps with itching and pain and I havent found anything that reduces them.

Prep h. Its the only thing that works for me. Its no fun. Try not to itch them it makes them way worse. Tmi lol.

There are over the counter drugs like Preparation H. But I find nothing works faster than getting some prescription suppositories.  Good luck and I'm sorry your going thru that
