Im 7 weeks pregnant today. I've had 2 miscarriages in Aug nd Dec 2012. My doc has me booked in for an internal scan next week but im very worried about having it done. My sisters nd mom advised against it. Has anyone had this done this early???? Any advice appreciated!!!

An intervaginal u/s poses no risk to you or the baby. Idk why your family would advise against it.

I have  had several miscarriages and tried to refuse the vaginal scan with this baby and she wouldn't let me. I am glad I did it because it gave me comfort that everything was ok. Make sure you have a good dr. I are. High risk so my dr makes me do blood work once or twice a month to make sure all my levels are good.

A trans vaginal unltrasound is completely safe, i had one at 5 weeks, one at 7 weeks, and the last one at 8 weeks.

It's fine to have them. They don't even hurt. They will not cause m/c.  I have 2 boys, 3 baby's in heaven and 24 weeks now and doing great:)

I had one done at 7 weeks :). The baby is just to small to see through your stomach and vaginally is way better to check your babys growth progress. Im 26 weeks now

I had it done few times over the years.... It's nothing... The actual thing they put into your vagina is very thin and it doesn't hurt or anything...
