LDH Test
We are expecting our second child . The pregnancy is 20 weeks now. Recently we did some CBC test and the WBC count 4 times and it is between 18 and 22. Due to this the Doc asked us to meet a Hematologists and he asked us do a LDH and Uric Acid test. The LDH is high and now he wants us to do FISH BCR-ABL test. We were worried and we took some second opinions to find out the the WBC count is High in Pregnancy and LDH count can also go high. Now we are not sure if we should do this test or not. Can any one help in this please...
Are they concerned about preeclampsia or something else? Have you had any symptoms so far? I had it with my most recent pregnancy. It was stressful and not at all fun or the way I wanted things to go, but thankfully, both baby and I were fine.
