Labour or not?
Hello everyone!
I am having contractions since 4 am (almost 5 pm here), they are frequent and painful but not that much painful. I just wanted to ask in your opinion could I be having BH for thats long? I never had them, but I am 38 weeks so it was time to have them, I think. :)

Thank you girls!!! I had my baby boy december 27th at 10.05 am. It turnes out thatI was dilated 4 cm when I came to the hospital so that really was labor pain.He is just perfect and I still can't believe he's here. :)) Thank you all for ypur support and this beautiful nine months!!

it seems it is my time. they gave me these pills (spasfon are called, at least in france) and said if I still feel the pain to prepare myself and come in when I feel the need. I am ftm and don't know even what to expect. And Christmas was just yesterday, I am so sorry I wasn't resting all day long. And a day before. And all of that time. :)

Everyone is different so it may be your time!
Yes bh do last that long. Cause mines did and im still pregnant.
Btw BH do not last that long. They are constant and they don't get stronger etc... thwy taper of.. whereas real contractions get stronger and don't go away with walking or swapping positions etc.
thank you, girls! they gave me a pill and said if it stops it's false alarm...but it didn't..so I guess that's it. fingers crossed everything goes fine! :D
I would call your doc. Every doc gives diff answers so yours might want you to come in.
I had a scare like that sunday and it was bh. I didnt even go to labor and delivery cause i had a scheduled appointment with my doc the next morning. And the contractions had stopped on their own and i hadnt dilated anymore when she checked me. My conttactions had started at noon-2am
