UGH. please help.

Did any of you ladies have a low grade fever for awhile after having your baby? I had my csection last Sunday night, and I had a 101 fever in the hospital that went down. I came home Wednesday and since that night, I've had a temp between 98.9-99.6 this whole time. I went back in to be checked for a uterine infection and they insist I don't have one. They took a swab of my cervix and even though they found some bacteria, they didn't give me anything. They said that's normal after birth? No one I know had bad bacteria after birth and have it be called normal. I did go back in yesterday to get my staples out and I had a UTI. They gave me a one dose 3000 antibiotic to take. I took it yesterday around noon. Still have a fever :/ they said that some women get a low grade fever the first two weeks from milk coming in, but I just don't feel right. Anyone go through something similar? I'm very worried, obviously, as an infection like that is not something to mess with.

Problem is I am in Germany stationed here with my husband, and they won't allow me to see anyone but my OB til after my 6 week check up :/ I've been to see them and they just don't care. They don't take it seriously. Thank you though.

If you are worried and your ob isn't taking your worries into consideration I would schedule an appointment with your regular doctor or an urgent care. I don't remember having any kind of fever, everyone is different. I hope you feel better and that your concerns are taking care of. We know our bodies so call your ob and tell them there has been no change and you are worried.
