Lactaid & other enzymes during 1st Trimester

Can you take Lactaid and/or other digestive enzymes during pregnancy? And specifically the first trimester?

I have celiac and lactose intolerance. I also am having extreme food aversions so a lot of my normal food options make me gag thinking about them. I know that cheese will help me get some calcium and protein but I would need to take a few Lactaid pills to not get sick and further constipated.

Has anyone asked a doctor about this before? I don't have my first appointment for another 2 weeks.

Hey! I just checked the lactaid website and they say it's safe to take both in pregnancy and breastfeeding :)

Hopefully your nausea won't last long! And congrats on your pregnancy!
