I've had no issues at all with my son or my pregnancy.  I've not even mentioned it to my doctor but my midwife knows I'm still breastfeeding and was really supportive.  You could try the kellymom website or the la leche league website for more information about breastfeeding whilst pregnant.  I have seen plenty of women whk *aren't* breastfeeding complain about cramps and contractions during pregnancy so I don't believe you should worry at all about nursing your daughter

Nursing your baby while pregnant will not harm you or either baby. I nursed all 4 of my kids until 18 months old while being pregnant with the next. If they were closer in age I would have tandem nursed. I have never had issues with cramping/contractions/early labor. It's completely natural and you shouldn't stop. It sounds like you have an ob with outdated information.

Thank you for sharing your story. My baby drinks my milk in a bottle, in the morning while I'm working. The thing is she doesn't like artificial milk, I guess I can insist her more... Thank you again.

I'm Not currently nursing but my first daughter had terrible colic. So bad the doctor told to stop breastfeeding because my diet had windled down to nothing since we were trying to figure how to relieve pain. Anyways my daughter absolutely wouldn't take a bottle even if it was my own milk. She didn't like whole milk either. My doctor also told me to just stop breast feeding cold turkey- and that my daughter would eat when she was hungry. Well... I cried because it was hard to just stop feeding her when I knew she was hungry. My husband made me leave the house for a few hours and wouldn't let me near her while trying to get her to take a bottle. She went a full 8 hours without any milk. Finally she just gave in and drank. As much as I didn't like it, it worked. maybe stopping and only letting them have warm milk instead is the best option for you ?
Not sure how helpful that really is but just my story of how we got our daughter to drink from a bottle and have whole milk

Did you experienced cramps, contractions, colics? My dr said I must stop with lactation, I feel a little colics, but I haven't had any bleeding. What did your doctor tell you? I'm really worried because my baby (1.4 yo) doesn't like any artificial milk, I have tried almost all and also I gave her cereal and chocolate (I'm really desperate). I really appreciate your comments.

Yes, I'm still nursing my son and I'm 27w.  The milk has changed to colostrum now though.
