My last two pregnancies ended at 11-week prenatal appointments with missed miscarriage diagnoses - one last December and one this past July. Today I am so happy and proud to say that I have 199 days left, and as of my 11-week appointment yesterday my baby is growing right on track and has a heartbeat of 172, audible on a handheld Doppler. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. My husband was right there holding my hand and we are so thrilled about our family growing again. I haven't been so happy and relaxed in a long time.

That's awesome!! Congrats!! you must be just glowing :) I had a missed miscarriage last year as well..it was heart breaking as it was  seemingly, doubly painful being twins at 13wks.I can really relate. We are now expecting again just found out last week! I'm praying this time baby is okay!! All the best to you n bubbs in the weeks to come :)

Thanks ladies :-) it's really a wonderful feeling. And my midwives were so awesome, saying if at any point I'm feeling nervous or anxious I can call them and come in to listen for peace of mind. They've been by our side this whole journey, they'll be just as happy as us when we finally meet our little rainbow.
