Leg cramps

I am 22 weeks and keep having cramps in my calf at night. I try to stretch and move my feet in circles. Any one had this and did you do anything to stop it?

Along with staying hydrated, eat bananas. The potassium is supposed to help. But don't eat too many bananas bc too much potassium us a bad thing.

Yup,I get them all the time. I find sitting up and gently putting my feet on the floor without putting weight on them usually helps end the spasm.

I used to get them every single night my first pregnancy and honestly idk if it could of been from dehydration or from not walking, i used to drink water absolutely all day long, water went with me even to the bathroom & i used to go to school full time so I'd walk a lot over campus and still get them, some nights even on both legs! I hope I don't get them this time around.

Getting up and walking around helps me, a warm bath before bed keeps them from happening too sometimes.

The lovely Charlie horses. They hurt so bad. Drink lots of water. Muscle spasms usually happen with dehydration. I just stretch I out and it goes away. Sometimes I would be sore after the next morning from them.
