I bring a Dr pepper ot diet coke to work with me, as i have a hard time staying awake too, especially when my client is snoring..lol. i try to eat a snack every 1.5 to 2 hours to keep my energy up and if i feel myself falling asleep i sip on the soda.
I find if I eat a big lunch or one with lots of carbs I crash hard. Keeping my meals smaller and more often had helped.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with this. I feel so sleepy around 2pm it's almost like I'm drunk, my eyelids get super low.
I get up and walk around everyday around 2 or else I am asleep at my desk come three : (
One cup of coffee in the morning does magic for me.. I wasn't a coffee lover before, but since I'm pregnant and have 2 early birds I need it! :)
I don't know how you feel about it but from what I've read a cup of coffee is ok. As long as you're keeping it to only a cup a day and do not have a lot of caffeine other wise. You may want to talk to your doctor to be sure.
