I have a week left. Had a scare last night but luckily I'm ok. Baby is still in there but I'm on bed rest. I'm definitely  looking forward to having my little man. Secretly  I kinda wish we had him last night. But I know it's best to wait that additional  week.

Aww you were so nice to explain all these. I thought healing process of c-section to get breech babies out takes much longer than usual c-section healing. But your post was very much informative. I have heard about the risks when Operating but never knew it would be very much painful even after weeks. Thank you for explaining. Day by day I'm getting nervous and scared about getting admitted for a c-section. Have only 3 more weeks roughly.

It's a longer healing process because it's a surgery. When you have vaginal your out the hospital  In 1-2 days and they say it takes and out 4 weeks to heal. With a c section your in the hospital  for 3-4 days. And it takes 8 weeks to heal. I've actually  heard of people over duing it and splitting there Insition open again after 2 months. You really need alot of help especially  getting out of bed. Its considered  and major surgery. The cut threw your stomach muscles witch makes it very hard to get up and down. They say you can't pick up anything heavyer  then the baby. I'd advise putting a pillow against your Insition to get up, caught or sneeze. Its painful. Pain meds and stool softners  will be your best friend. I'm sry I don't mean to scare you. But I fo want to prepare you.

My first son was born breech. Vaginally. We tried everything but he wouldn't turn. Found a doctor who would deliver him. Everything was fine. Very long labor though.

Smashcakes why do you say it was a long healing process? I might be in for a c-section in three weeks time if she doesn't flip down as my baby is in breech for the last 8 weeks.

Sry I found our my son was breach at 37 weeks. And that they couldn't turn him bc of a wall in my uturus. I was devistated. But they scheduled  a c section for the day after my due date. Well my son had other plans. Bc I went into labor on my due date at around 7 pm. They had to stop my labor and had him c section at 1:16 am the next day. This one is scheduled  for a week before my due date. So I'm crossing my fingers that we make it to then.

Spinningbabies.com.  wealth of information there about breech presentation, exercises to help provide more room for baby to turn and encourage chin to tuck to turn, even some for during labor if baby is still breech. Also good info on doing a breech birth.

Maybe research  a chiropractor in your area that is experienced in the Webster technique. It can help rotate thebaby without putting any pressure on him/her. Just a suggestion. :-)

Have you tried the polar bear position? It's about as close to child pose as you can get. My birth class just talked about this last night. You get down on all 4s but drop your head down on your arms and it should enourage baby to turn.

They'll likely do a c section if your baby is still breech.

Did it just start like normal labour or did u have a set date to go in?  I'm just curious because my son hasn't moved for 4 weeks still breech  and was wondering what happens. Not long good luck :)

Yes I had a breach baby and went into lador. I ended up having to get a c section. It was alot longer healing process but it went fine. I'm about to have my 2nd c section on the 19th.
