Lmp vs ultrasound due date

Based on my las menstrual period, I would be 8 weeks; however, I had an ultrasound which shows a sac of 6 weeks. I have been very worried because my first visit was two weeks ago and dr thought something was wrong based on my lmp. However hgc are rising normal. Anyone has had same expirience. Please share. My next dr visist is in 2 weeks. :(

My OB is a fertility specialist and wasn't concerned in the least about my cycle. Everybody has a different normal and it's all good.

Your OB is just being cautious, no need to stress.  Sometimes they have trouble wrapping their mind around a non textbook period and they get cautious until they get the second ultrasound to confirm it's all good.

My lmp is Never right for the way they count...it doesn't allow for women with farther apart periods it's a 28 day count.

The dating ultrasound is usually the way to go special if it's done at 8 weeks or sooner. All he dates being off mean is you had a longer spaced cycle before you got pregnant.

I normally have a 36day cycle (always have) and ovulate closer to the start than most so it throws their counting way off. I'm now 18 days away from my second super healthy full term pregnancy

Ive been having 9 days period before i got pregnant. Does dr tells you is fine? Because mine was freaking me out. Only yesteday he said that the sac is in the uterus, but not to discard other options until he sees. Heartbeat.
