Losing weight

I am 9 weeks today and have lost two pounds, gained zero throughout pregnancy so far. I'm assuming it's because of my severe nausea and vomiting, but can this harm my baby??

Thank you ladies, that's a load off my mind. I have Hyperemesis as well. It's pretty awful. But, as long as my baby is okay, I'll endure anything I have to!

I lost 28 pounds in my first trimester due to severe nausea and vomiting. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis! I've gained 5 of those pounds back and I will be in my 3rd trimester tomorrow. Babies are resilient! So your baby will be fine. My daughter is weighing and measuring perfectly! So, no need to worry Mommy!

As long as your doc isn't worried don't worry to much just try to eat what you can and drink lots of water. I was the same way in my first trimester lost 17lbs. I'm now 27 weeks and still down 6lbs from my start weight but I'm also a heavier person so my doc isn't worried about it and when I asked her about it she says we don't want you to gain a bunch of weight because in the end it's not going to benefit the baby

No it's normal at during your 1st trimester for your weight to be down and up.. Keep taking your prenatals and whatever you could keep down make it healthy.. I lost 13 lbs from my 1st and 2nd trimester.. If it gets worse your doctor will help you don't worry.
