There's probably a 100 foods that could be a risk in pregnancy. Pineapple, Papya, sprouts, and soft serve ice cream were what shocked me. I think as long as you eat in moderation you should be fine. For deli meats I'd just be sure your buying from a reputable place and that's it's fresh and it's been stored properly.

I'm sure if you eat subway is all good. I ate lunch meats with my son now this pregnancy I don't want to just like not having egg nog cause it contains raw eggs lol some things I can not eat for 9 months I'm ok with that cause then it's less worry for the baby.  But you having a sub once in a while heat the meat up before ingesting and ask your doc

I craved it with my first and didn't even know it was bad till my sister said something when she to got pregnant. Needless to say I'm 22 weeks with #3 and have had it multiple times each time and every one is happy and healthy.

The odds of listeria are very slim. I ate deli meats and my kid is just fine.
